Policies

Check-In and Check-Out Times:

• Standard check-in time is 4 pm MT, and check-out is 10 am MT.
• Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. Please contact customer service at 307-455-2907.
• Check in: 4:00 pm - Til, via key code

Important Notice for Late Reservations:

• All reservations made after 10 PM MT will require additional confirmation. We kindly ask guests to double-check their reservation details. These late-night bookings will also be verified twice through our partner.
• Please call 307-455-2907 to ensure accuracy and a smooth check-in process.

Pets:

• We are pet-friendly.
• There is a $49.00 pet fee.
• Limited number of dog friendly rooms. $49 fee/dog/night, limit two dogs.
• Dogs in a non-dog friendly room, or without being booked ahead... will be charged $100 for deep clean for the health and safety of our allergic guest.

Payment and Reservations:

• Payment method is credit card. All major cards are accepted.
• You can make reservations via 307-403-0340 or our website.

Cancellation and Modifications:

• Guests are eligible for a 100% refund if the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before the scheduled check-in date.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
• There is no fee for modifying a reservation. For assistance, please call 307-407-4196 between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM MST, or visit our front desk between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM MST for in-person support.

Responsibility for Belongings:

• The Chinook Winds is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
• If our cleaners find items left behind, they are put into an office safe for 30 days before being discarded.

Smoking Policy:

• Smoking is prohibited inside all Chinook rooms, cabins and properties.
• Smoking is permitted outside.
• Guests who tamper with, disable or damage room smoke detectors will be responsible for expenses associated with repairing those damages.

WiFi and Room Access:

Special Requests:

• We can accommodate certain special requests.

Misc:

• Wild animals are common in and around the hotel. These animals can be dangerous, please do not approach. Chinook Winds is also used as a hunting lodge, therefore firearms may be present on site. We require all firearms to be safely stored and all ammunition to be emptied from weapons while on site.
  
• In exchange for the opportunity to participate in activities at Chinook Winds Lodge at 640 S 1st Street, Dubois Wyoming, commissioners, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and sponsors, will not be responsible for, nor legally liable for, any damage or loss of property or bodily or personal injury or death suffered in conjunction with any activities associated with activities on the premises. Guest assume all risk of damage, injury, or death arising out of or resulting from my participation in any activites at 640 S 1st Street, Dubois Wyoming. I agree to release, hold harmless, and waive all claims against Wyoming F and M and all associated parties.
  
• You accept the policy when booking a room, and understand that if any policy is disagreed on by booking party, that booking party may elect to cancel their stay any time before check in.
